CLI SAML SSO Login

Starting today, organisation members can authenticate the Quizalto CLI directly through their organisation’s SAML Single Sign-On provider.

How It Works

When you run quizalto login --device --org YOUR_ORG_ID, the CLI opens your browser and automatically redirects you to your organisation’s corporate login page. After authenticating with your SAML IdP, you are returned to the device approval page where you confirm the user code. The CLI then receives the access and refresh tokens — no password entry needed.

How to Get Started

  1. Ensure your organisation has SAML configured (contact your admin)
  2. Run: quizalto login --device --org YOUR_ORG_ID
  3. Replace YOUR_ORG_ID with the UUID your admin provides
  4. Authenticate through your corporate login page in the browser
  5. Confirm the user code and you are done

Your organisation ID is available from your administrator. The CLI automatically handles the full redirect flow through your SAML provider and back.
